Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you subscribed via the App Store, go to your iPhone's Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions and cancel Etapa from there. If you subscribed via the web, go to Settings → Manage Plan in the app.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account, training plans, and all associated data. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it first.

Are the training plans created by a real coach?

Training plans are generated by AI (Anthropic Claude), drawing on established cycling training science. The AI creates personalised plans based on your fitness level, goals, and schedule. This is not medical advice — consult a doctor before starting any exercise programme.

Can I get a refund?

All purchases include a 7-day full refund guarantee. For Apple App Store purchases, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play purchases, go to your Play Store subscriptions. You can also request a refund directly from Settings in the app.

How do I restore my purchases on a new device?

Go to the paywall screen and tap Restore Purchases. This will check the App Store for any previous purchases linked to your Apple ID.

Something isn't working right

Try force-closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, email us at support@getetapa.com with a description of the problem and we'll help you out.
